KAREN I JUST READ YOUR STORY AND HAD A FEW QUESTIONS BUT FIRST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT. I AM 40 YEARS OLD AND MAY 14 2012 HAD A TOTAL THYROID REMOVAL THEY FOUND papillary ccroinama SAME THING YOU HAD. MY DOCTOR HAS ME ON 112 OF SYNTHROID. SHE SAID NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING. THEY DID THE BLOOD WORK ON THE TSH AND ONE THAT SHOWS ID THE CANCER CELLS ARE BACK. I FORGOT THAT NAME IS .02 AND THE TSH IS REALLY. THE DOCTOR THAT DID THE SURGERY SAID HE FELT LIKE AN ULTRASOUND SHOULD BE DONE. SHE SAID IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE INTILL 6 MONTHS AFTER THE SURGERY. MY THING IS WHY WAIT THEY NEVER CHECKED MY LYPNODES. I AM SCARED THAT SHE IS NOT REALLY KEEPING AN EYE ON THIS. MY MOTHER DIED OF BREAST CANCER SO THIS HITS HOME. DO YOU KNOW WHY THERE'S A WAIT? I HAVE ALOT OF OTHER ISSUES. HAD A FULL HYSTRECTOMY, GALL BLADDER OUT AND APPENDIX THE PAST 10 YEARS THEY WERE ALL BAD PARTS. MY ANA IS POSTIVE AND TPO IS GOES BETWEEN 400 AND 700. I GUESS IF I WAS HEALTHY I WOULD FEEL BETTER BUT I HAVE HAD SO MANY ISSUES. THEY FOUND THE CANCER IN THE THYROID INSIDENTIALLY I HAVE HASMOTOSTHEY WERE REMOVING IT DUE TO THE BAD SYPMTOMS AND FOUND THE LEFT TO BE COMPLETELY HARD AND DEAD THE RIGHT WAS STILL SOFT BUT HAD TWO SPOTS IN THE SLICE WHERE THEY FOUND IT. I KNOW MY SPELLING IS REALLY BAD PLEASE DONT POST THIS JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT YOU THOUGHT. |
