I've noticed some time ago when a lot of RuneScape Gold people believed that 'the Slayerdart doesn't have a magic bonus' (which isn't true) However, it's been circulating for so long that it is fake, yet i noticed that a lot of people are still using it! One of us (which is already very high overal (and has 91 magic)), used the slayer dart for a couple of days in barrows, and gained 400k xp; but if he used firewave (which is roughly similar in strength but with a lot more experience) the player could have gained 1.25m or perhaps more experience!

My friend is going to do barrows in a couple of days. I told him quite a few times NOT to use slayerdart but earth wave (can't make use of fire wave as of at the moment), because it gives more experience and does similar to. I saw him for two minutes prior to when I asked him to look over his outfit. SLAYER DART!

I explain to him why he does not use it. Then he purchases an Earth Battlestaff. His reason for wearing a slayerdart was that he saw many of the people on YouTube wearing it.

All this leads to the topic: Do you use Slayerdart? Or fire blasts or wave attacks? Are you a big fan of magic? Or do not use it at all? Was this an unnecessary waste of time? Do not create an election. This is more of a discussion about why they use it in place of why you would make use of it. Tell me the reason why people continue to make use of it, when blood runes are less than death runes.
